Movie Review: Push

Was extremely excited to see this movie and my buddy(gatorbait015 - on youtube) let me borrow it!

Pre-thoughts:

-Good cast (I really like the first two listed): Chris Evans (Fantastic Four/FF:RotSS - Human Torch), Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond and Never Back Down), Camilla Belle (10,000 BC and When a Stranger Calls) and Dakota Fanning (Coraline, Man on Fire, Hide and Seek and War of the Worlds).

-Had a feeling it would be a knock off of Heroes and I love Heroes, so I was really excited.

-Plot: Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning have special abilities and must find a girl in Hong Kong before a crooked government organization called Division does.

Thoughts:

-Dakota Fanning was pretty annoying in this movie. She is usually hit or miss for me and she just annoyed me.

-The powers are really neat:

NOTE: If you don't want to read about the powers and find out in the movie, skip forward!!

-Pusher: They can push lies, memories(that never even happened) and even emotions into the minds of their target. The target believes anything and everything the Pusher says.
-Watcher: Can self induce visions of the future. It's just like a prolonged deja vu.
-Stitch: Psychic healers/surgeons who can quickly reconstruct cells to their previous/healthy state.
-Bleeder: They create high-pitch sonic vibrations that rupture their targets blood vessels. They are more of an assassin type.
-Sniff: Can track the locations of people or objects over varying distances just from smell.
-Shifter: Can temporarily shift the way an object looks to the human eye. Example: a piece of paper cut to look like a dollar bill, they can transform into a $100 bill.
-Shadow: Used to block the visions of sniffs and to temporarily block the Watchers visions.
-Wiper: Can temporarily or permanently remove memory.

-I liked how they didn't complicate the powers like sometimes Heroes does, everything flows together well.

-A lot of people disliked or hated this movie, but I for one, really enjoyed it.

-Story line kept interesting, they were sure to throw in a couple twists to keep the story fun and active.

Overall:

This will be a movie I purchase on DVD when I can find it. I personally wouldn't pay more than $5 for it, but that is what I usually pay for DVDs now-a-days.

My Weekend Away

Hey everyone!

Sorry, I've been completely silent lately. This past weekend my wife and I had a weekend away trip planned(before I knew I was going to lose my job) and we had a blast together.

Saturday: We drove to "The Beach" waterpark located next to Kings Island in Cincinnati, Ohio. We arrived at 10 am(when they opened) and were gone by 11:30am. I can't even express how disappointing that water park has become.

I remember the last time I went, I had a BLAST. Now, it seems just completely run down, dirty and full of a very rude staff(with the exception of one, maybe two).

So, after we left we decided to go to the Newport(Kentucky) Aquarium, since our check-in for our hotel wasn't until 3pm.

Wow, did we have fun! I really enjoy zoo's and aquariums, but I think that may be the best one I've been too yet! Very neat fish, sharks, octopuss, jellyfish..you name it! I highly recommend anyone to check that out if you live near the area or will be planning a trip around the area. It's just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio..it lies on the border of Ohio/Kentucky.

I even touched a shark! I'm scared as hell of those things, but I did it! Felt like sandpaper!

After we were done, we checked into our hotel room and relaxed/took showers before going to dinner. We watched Jurassic Park, since it was on HBO and I now remember why I love that movie so much.

After we were ready, we went to the famous Montogomery Inn("Ribs King"). They in fact were the best ribs I've ever had in my entire life and I can't wait to go back there again(they just opened one decently close to us!).

Sunday: Went to the Cincinnati Reds baseball game against the Washington Nationals. We lost, but we had a blast.

That was our weekend and we enjoyed every second of it. It was nice to have a "mini vacation" with my wife.

Thanks for reading!!

Zack and Miri Make A Porno Review

Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated in quite awhile. I've been extremely busy with trying to find a job and some previously planned trips(i.e. Cedar Point), so I've been neglecting the blog and youtube, because I'm running low on time.

I watched this last night(not for the first time) before bed and remembered how much I loved it, so I am going to review it.

Pre-thoughts:

-Written and Directed by Kevin Smith = pure greatness in itself

-Good quality comedic cast: Seth Rogan(Pineapple Express/40-year Old Virgin/Superbad/Step Brothers(small part)/Knocked Up), Elizabeth Banks(40-year Old Virgin/Role Models), Craig Robinson(The Office) and Jason Mewes(Clerks 1&2/Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back/Dogma) to name a few.

-Plot: Two friends(who have been friends forever) can't afford their bills anymore and after there water and power is shut off, they decide to make a porno for a means to an end.

Thoughts:

-Seth Rogan once again proves why I love his comedic roles so much.

-Justin Long has one of the funniest comedic roles I've ever seen from anyone.

-In my top 10 funniest movies of all time

-The cast worked extremely well together and the dialouge was non-stop laughter.

Overall:

-You must see this movie if you haven't already!

Fast and the Furious(2009) Review

My buddy bought this movie on blu-ray on release and finally let me borrow it! I've been dying to see it, so I finally got to watch it yesterday.

The movie picks up after the second film and everything is happening while the third film is going on, from what I understand. Hopefully that makes sense to everyone.

Pre-thoughts:

I heard a lot of good news about the movie initially. I loved the first two and thought Tokyo Drift(3) was OK at best. So, when I found out they were bringing back the original crew from the first movie, I was pumped. Some have said it was the best out of the series!

Thoughts:

-I loved Vin Diesel and Paul Walker together in the first movie. I think they are both good actors and I love how they are on each side of the playing field(ie. cop vs wanted).

-A lot of action and explosions = greatness

-They had some REALLY neat cars in the movie

-Story wasn't as good in my opinion as the first movie. On par with the second movie.

-Not as much racing as I would have liked

Overall:

-It is probably my second favorite in the series. I think the cast alone gives it the edge over the second movie.

-I highly recommend anyone seeing this movie if they can. I'd watch the first and second before seeing this one, so you know the character relationships.

Terrible News

I was given notice at my primary job that I will be laid off in the next week. I will be busy finding another job in the mean time, but will try to keep up with youtube and my blog as much as possible.

Harry Potter: Half-Blood Prince Review

Before reading this, please check out the previous post for an update on this blog!

So the first official movie review for this channel is Harry Potter: Half-Blood Prince aka Harry Potter 6.

As always, I took my sister(Kuhellsea) to see the movie because it is tradition that we see all HP movies in theatre.

Pre-thoughts:

We had read/heard mixed reviews about this movie through various websites/friends, ect. We were still extremely excited to see it and the trailer was enough to get me past the negativity it has received. Something I cannot comment on is the fact that some of the HP book READERS said that the movie strayed from the book a bit, so while I hope this isn't too true, I feel it probably is.

Thoughts:

-This movie was definitely in my top 3 favorite HP movies to be released. Number one favorite being Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I definitely enjoy the more darker side to the story now that Voldemort is fully released and back to ass kicking power.

-Malfoy had a much bigger role in the movie and I was finally glad to see Malfoy with a more prominent role(but I'm not telling what it is!).

-There was a much higher comedic value to the movie as well. Many more scenes had made me laugh or smile than the others, especially some scenes with Ron.

-As I said before, they put a bit more comedy in it, but they kept up with the darkness that is surrounding Hogwarts/Harry and his crew.

-The one thing I was annoyed with was the fact that they keep going back and forth with the love interests of Harry, Ron and Hermine. I understand that they are getting older and with age attractions grow and it is part of character development, but I wish they would reduce it.

-There was a huge ending and I am extremely excited to see the movie to follow.

Overall

As I said before, it is in my top 3 favorite HP movies of all time. It will be one I buy upon release and can't wait to watch again.

If you are a HP fan, I highly recommend seeing it in theatres if you can, but if not, definitely need to see it on DVD upon release!

Will Do My Best!

Hey guys, so I will be uploading a new video tonight that I recorded last night(didn't upload it, because I can't spoil you guys with two videos in one day!

In this video I talk about what my plans are for my written blog here. I've decided that I am going to change the way I do things while I was in the shower thinking. Showers have to be one of the best brainstorming times for me, I'm not even sure why. Here are the changes to look forward to:

1) This blog will be solely for MOVIE REVIEWS and BLOGS.
- You are probably asking this; Why movie reviews and not record them? My answer is simply, because movie reviews are not as in depth as my gaming reviews. I am not going to show movie footage, because I don't want to ruin anything for you. So, without ruining much, I am going to talk about my thoughts on the movies and essentially just review them in text form only. I may still give my intial thoughts of movies I've seen on my movie/DVD videos, but rely on FULL movie reviews here.
2) I will not promise anything, but I am going to try to do ONE movie review a day on this blog. I will let the voters decide on twitter on which to do next. It will most likely be every OTHER day for a movie review, but it will be content, none-the-less.
3) I will try to blog daily as well, that way you can see what is going on in my life, because I have been asked what is a usual day for me. I will also give updates on what to expect, ect.

As always, go to my twitter, which is in the links to the right hand side and follow me to participate in content. It won't always be just for movies, but for actual videos too!

I have started an e-mail for youtubers only, which you can contact me at shepdawg25yt@yahoo.com.

I've already been sent an e-mail by a user and it is very cool to hear from you all.

Would anyone be interested in a ustream? Let me know!

Updates!

Hey everyone,

I want to first say to the few who continue to check this, thank you for nothing being the whiny asses who want to bitch because I've dropped youtube for awhile. I'm busy and I'm tired and I don't have the time.

The problem with the majority of my followers wanting game play footage with my reviews is.....it takes a lot longer for me to do and thus I have no time to make the videos, because people like to bitch about me just talking about the different aspects of the game. Give me a fuckin' break.

Anyways...........Sorry I had to get that out.

How has everyone been?

I've been working like crazy, I go on vacation next friday and will be gone a week(THANK YOU GOD!) and I have a Cincinnati Reds game with my dad this friday(family tradition between the two of us.)

I've been working some crazy hours, like 14+ hour days and it sucks, but it gets the bills paid.

I did manage to get some movies last weekend(Saturday to be exact) at Buybacks and they are:

1) Quarantine: I HATE handy cam movies, but I LOVED this one. Very well done movie.
2) Never Back Down: Very good movie about MMA(mixed martial arts) and high school bullies. Highly recommend.
3) Wall-E: Because it is awesome and my wife loves it.
4) Punisher: War Zone: I hope it's good. My buddy swears by it as a very good movie.

I forget the other one or two I got. Ah well..I got Netflix and tested it out; so far I've watched:

1) Still Waiting: Terrible sequel to the hilarious movie, Waiting. Do not waste your life away.
2) Fido(instant queue): I love zombie movies and this did not disappoint. It's not your average zombie movie, but a zombie comedy and I found it very entertaining.
3) Taken: HOLY FUCKING SHIT. WATCH THIS MOVIE. Enough said.
4) Curious Case of Benjamin Button: Started watching this, but the wife and I fell asleep; been kind of boring so far.
5) Swingers(instant queue): I want to say this might be Vince Vaughns first big role, but I could be wrong. Pretty good comedy, nothing spectacular.

Been watching Season 1 of Weeds(via instant queue) and it has been awesome so far. I'm on episode 6 and I recommend this dramedy to anyone.

Saturday my Step Sister graduated High School. Very proud of her. She graduated with high honors and is planning on being a pharmacist.

Was going to talk about Microsoft's E3, but I'm too tired now, this blog was longer than I originally wanted anyway.

Take care everyone!

More and More Updates

I want to first start my blog by saying, congrats to Mav and Tiff on their wedding! It was gorgeous!

Just going to give an update on my weekend and such...

Friday: I took my wife out on a date night. We had Red Lobster, which may be the greatest seafood restaurant ever. I love it. We went shopping at the mall and I decided I would try and catch up with the times and change my style up a bit. So I got some clothes from American Eagle and got a lot of compliments, so it made me feel pretty good.

After the mall we went and saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I LOVED IT. I knew it would be good and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Learned a few minor details that I never actually knew and my wife loved the movie. It will be a blu-ray purchase for sure. By the way, the guy who played Sabertooth(Liev S???) was a shit load better than the guy in the original X-Men films.

Saturday: I watched The Day the Earth Stood Still before I went to celebrate Mother's Day with my step-mom early. I liked it, was a nice smooth drama. I'd recommend it for a rental, maybe a $5 purchase later on.

It was just a fun time hanging out with the family and eating some really good burgers. After we left, my buddy made some cornhole boards and we went there around 10pm and played until 12am. Cornhole and beer = a fun time.

Sunday: Went back to my dads, for my step-sisters 18th birthday. We had fun as usual with the family. Came home, watched the Amazing Race(which I am not a big fan of, but my wife loves it) and the Celebrity Apprentice(not to bad, but not my favorite at all).

Pretty nice and relaxing weekend. I enjoyed it!

How was everyone elses weekend?

Another Update

Sunday: Got up at 9am and worked on our fence until about 5pm. It is done! Very nice to have that off my chest and knocked out.

While myself, my dad, Brittany's dad(Pat) and Pat's friend were all working on the fence, Brittany's step dad came over to install our keyless entry garage door opener and our door knocker(that was a house warming gift, with our last name etched into the metal), as well as help with the fence.

I think I've figured out what I am going to do with our basement/3rd bedroom. Since the basement is going to be a pain in the ass, I think I am going to use the small 3rd bedroom at my gaming/computer room. Basement will be storage purely, as of right now.

Monday: Worked and had a softball game. Pretty easy day. Other than I was super sore and sun burnt from Sunday, I just added to the pain from softball.

Today, I'll be working from 8am-8pm. Ugh.....

-Matt-

By the way, I played F.E.A.R. 2 a tad last night, enough to beat the first level and move decently through the second. Pretty fun and creepy so far!

Rough Day

Friday was the day I went out with a ton of family and friends to officially celebrate my 21st birthday. I got extremely hammered drunk and have been struggling to survive all day, lol...it has been ROUGH.

Father-in-law came over to put up the 2x4's for the fence, so those are up, just need to put all the planks up and we are done!

I went out and spent my gift cards, I got a new SD card for my GPS that my wife bought me for my birthday. I got a new micro SD card for my brand new phone. Our upgrade was today, so I got the LG Voyager. I love it. My wife got the LG Dare. We both had upgrades, woot!

I forced myself into buying a game today(thanks giftcards!) and I hope I didn't overpay for this game. It better be as good as my buddy told me. I bought F.E.A.R. 2 for full price. I hope it rocks.

Anyways, I am going to bed, I need the sleep, lol.

Update!

Hey everyone,

Sorry about my long absence, but I've been slammed working two jobs and doing house work non-stop. I'm going to try to update everything I can remember:

House: We got the hole in our ceiling and bathroom fixed! I have fixed the shower leak, *knock on wood* and all seems to be moving back into motion, where we can finally unpack everything else! I hope. We started building our fence last Saturday. We got all our posts up and cemented in, so now we just have the build the rest, unfortunately SHITTY weather is delaying the process, but hope to have it all completed by Sunday. Also installing my new basketball hoop I got for my birthday, I have the main pole in the ground cemented in, just need to build the hoop.

Video Games: I've been focusing on Resident Evil 5 when I have any chance to play video games. I finally beat it last night and it definitely wasn't my favorite I've ever played, it was fun. If I get a chance, I'll fully review it on youtube.

I did buy three games last weekend because they were decently priced at Gamestop:

1) Facebreaker(xbox 360): I love this game. It's a goofy boxing combo type game, but it is all so fast paced, that it stays continually fun. It's not a game you play for hours on end, but it's one you have fun with if you don't have a lot of time to invest into video games. Awesome deal for $15 brand new.

2) Ironman(ps3-I wanted xbox 360!): For some reason I wanted to play this when it released and I got my hand on it for $20 brand new. The flying has been kind of a pain in the ass to learn, but I am progressing along decently. Not worth the $20 in my opinion, but oh well.

3) Incredible Hulk(ps3-I wanted xbox 360!): Also was dying to try this as you can have a free roam as the big green guy! This one is fun! It reminds me of Spiderman games, where you can free roam and do missions. I love it and do see myself playing it to completion! Good deal for $20 brand new.

I've also beaten Star Wars: Force Unleashed(xbox 360) and had a blast with it. Beat Guitar Hero World Tour(xbox 360) for the guitar and I have to say, I didn't like the track list at all. Couple good ones, but most sucked or I didn't know them.

Movies: I've gotten a few recently, but don't remember what they are off the top of my head. I did see Watchmen in theatres when it came out and LOVED it. I know this is old news, but I never wrote about it and I just want to say, it is a must buy on release in my opinion. I can't wait!

Life: I turned 21 on Monday. Woot. Had a really nice birthday dinner and was feeling really good after I left, haha.

How is everyone else doing? I hope good!

That's the plan anyways. I hope everyone is doing well.

Lazy

I'm sorry I've been absent for the past couple weeks. WoW has really gotten a hold of me and I can't seem to break it. I'm getting better though, that's a plus! I've read your blogs, just haven't commented, because when I do get time away from WoW, I'm generally on short time and I have enough time to check my e-mail and read your blogs!

I'm asking you all continue to bare with me! I'm trying hard to get back into youtube.

Level 80!

Finally, I got it. Woot. I haven't played since the last couple minutes of hitting 80, so I can see myself calming down a bit and get my act together for youtube. I'm very sorry I've been so lazy lately. I'm working on it!

Just wanted to leave a quick update!

-Matt-

Tuesday, January 20, 2009

Sad.

It's sad that I haven't done much with youtube or have been paying enough attention to my blog. I've been obsessed with WoW and I can't seem to break it. We have been dead at work, so I downloaded WoW with the two expansions and have been playing it while I don't have anything to do. I think once I hit 80, things will calm back down, but I'm only at level 77. I'm also pushing hard to get the 5k gold to get a epic flying mount. I've got two big goals and a lot of determination. Sorry, I am trying to pull myself away from WoW to upload that video.

I saw something about Hancock in Tiff's blog. Hancock was great for the first half of the movie, when they added the "twist" I think that's where it got a bit ridiculous and started to die down. Still was a fun movie and one I'll watch again as I really love Will Smith movies.

Fran - I'll work on getting you a WoW video together. Should be easy considering thats all I've been doing.

Good news, I'll be 21 in 3 months. I'm pretty excited about it. Wooooot.

-Matt-

It's Cold.

Yeah, it's -11 degrees outside. It's so cold, that when you breath, it takes your breath away or when you sniff, your nose hairs feel like they are instantly freezing. I hate snow and I hate ICE. I left work early(like 11am early) on Wednesday because of the snow storm that was hitting and then roads were terrible Thursday, so I got that day off as well.

I've been just relaxing, catching up on sleep and playing video games. I'm almost level 74 in WoW on my mage and I've been playing Saint's Row 2. I'm really enjoying that game! I LOVED Saint's Row, so naturally I wasn't too worried about the sequel being bad. They took everything they did right with Saint's Row and added a bunch of new cool shit(customizing your gangs-cars/people, ect). More of a personal character creator this time around, I'm loving it.

I'm sore as hell from working out. I watched Boondock Saints last night before going to bed. I love that movie, such a great movie!

Anyways, I don't have much else to say. I'm currently getting the patches for WoW on my work computer(HAHA!). Hopefully it will run on this computer(it's got the memory and a decent video card) - knock on wood.

See you all later!

-Matt-

Tuesday, January 13, 2009

Recorded a video, just need to upload it.

Yup, I did the a tour of the inside of my house and what I bought with giftcards from Christmas. Hopefully, I'll stop being lazy and upload it tonight.

I'm tired and out of energy, bleh.

Short weekend

Does anyone else feel as if the weekend flew by, kind of like it didn't even come?

I've gotten mostly through all the seasons of the Office. I'm on disk 2(of 4) of Season 4(last season on DVD). I love this show, anyone who hasn't seen it has to check it out. It's so hilarious and Steve Carrell is not even the funny character. If anything, he is more annoying in the show than anything.

Brittany made me go see Bride Wars this weekend. Let me sum this movie up in two words: BORING/STUPID. If your a woman, you'll probably like it, especially Tiff because of the fact she will be getting married soon, but seriously..it sucked.

I am playing in a dodgeball league at our YMCA, I don't remember if I mentioned that. It was fun. Our team sucked, but I still had a blast and I did pretty good, considering I am so out of shape. It's not to release built up aggression on people and throw the ball as hard as I can at them.

I had to work on Saturday. Bleh. I got shocked a couple times on one of the beds and after I got it back together without electricuting myself to death, I said fuck it after the 4th hour I worked and said I'll be back later on this week.

Got to level 72 on my mage in WoW. Woot.

Haven't done any console gaming for some reason, I just can't get myself to play anything, I'm not sure why. I'm sure its just a small phase, but I'm ready for it to be over.

Anyways, I hope everyone had a good weekend.

-Matt-

Thank God It's Friday!

I am still dragging from my 2 week break off work. I'm tired all the damn time because I never slept during my break.

So, I worked out at the gym yesterday. I did 14+ miles on the bike at the gym and suprisingly, my legs arn't that sore. I also lifted weights a bit and my arms are sore, haha.

Brittany wanted to do a dodgeball league at the YMCA(our gym) and that is on Friday nights, so tonight is our first game/match. I really don't know how to play dodgeball, I'm pretty sure I just throw the ball at people, try not to get hit and catch it if possible? Regardless, it will be a nice active activity.

Tomorrow I have to work at my second job, but it is at my wifes store and she is working tomorrow, so it won't be bad. I don't mind working on stuff when she is there because I get to talk to her. I haven't gotten to spend much time with her these past few days, because she has been working a shit ton. She has closing shifts, Monday-Wednesday and also had to work Wednesday morning(8:45am-10:15pm). That was a very long day for her and I feel bad for her, she deserves some relaxation. She also works 8:45am-4:45ish Thursday/Friday. I, on the other hand, just have worked 8-3ish through the week, except Tuesday, which I worked at my second job until 7:30pm. Otherwise, I've just been lazy because I have been so damn tired.

We watched a movie last night called December Boys starring Daniel Radcliff(I think that's his last name-dude from Harry Potter). It wasn't too bad, it was a watch once but never own movie.

Florida won the National Championship and I hate Florida with a passion. I got a text at midnight from one of my best friends gloating, because he is a Florida fan and hates Ohio State. Needless to say, I haven't been able to talk shit because the last time we played them, they demolished us in the National Championship 41-14 and now they just won another.

The only advantage I have over him is we have 7 national championships and they have 3 total. Keeps him shut up for awhile, but they are inching close!

Anyways, I most likely won't post in here until the weekend is over, unless something cool/neat/frustrating, ect happens for me to talk about.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Lazy Night

So, last night after work I went home and layed down for a quick nap. I was planning on going to the gym to work out and then come home to watch Duke vs Davidson at 7pm. That didn't happen, I fell asleep at 4pm and woke up at 7:30pm. I did get to see some of the Duke game, so it wasn't too bad.

I played WoW for a little bit and I am at level 71 and I'm half way through it. Leveling to 80 is going to take me forever!

I watched the movie, In the Name of the King with Jason Stathem(SP?), he is the lead male character in the Transporter movies. Pretty good movie, I enjoyed it.

Well, that was my quick and short update.

Self Reflection

I made a quick VLOG, that I want to upload tonight hopefully. Basically, just showed what I bought with my giftcards from Christmas.

So, Monday was a pretty easy day. Work was actually a little busy for once and the day flew by. My Ohio State Buckeyes played the Texas Longhorns. Buckeyes were predicted to get smashed, but only lost 24-21. I'm very proud of our team. Both of my teams went down(Sunday and Monday) but I've never been more proud.

I got yelled at Monday because I started screaming at the TV. I think the Buckeyes got screwed on a couple big calls, but hey..whatever. Anyways, the ref made a terrible call and I got up and threw my control into the couch. Brittany told me, "If you can't watch the game like a normal person, I'm turning it off." Does anyone else get like this? I've got a bad temper and I get pissed off over silly stuff, but I'm passionate about my hobbies. I remember screaming about every curse word you could imagine at the refs during that game, my wife replied with, "You tell it babe, I'm sure those referees can hear you through the TV." I love my wife more than she could ever imagine, but she likes to give a little nudge to fire me up more.

I think she is learning that I need to get all my frustration and screaming out before she says anything though, haha. I was playing CoD: WaW when I bought it and I remember cussing at the TV and she got upset with me, but kept saying stuff to me that irritated me more, for example: "What's the point of being pissed off at your game, it won't do anything." I have a serious anger issue toward video games or sports when I play/watch them. I think I've gotten better over the years, but I can get pretty bad. I don't break shit or harm anyone, I just scream and yell at the TV. Anyone else like this? I've got serious issues, haha.

Last night I worked a long day. Got to work at 9am, because when I left my house at 7:40am, I got to work really late because icy rain was hitting and there were wrecks like every 15 minutes. I sat still on the freeway for a good 45+ minutes. I usually get to work between 8am-8:15am when I leave at 7:40am, to get there at 9am, sucked.

So after my first job, I had to go to Bronze Tan Studios to fix shit for them and didn't get to leave until 7:30pm and got home at 8pm. LOOONG day. It's worth it, sometimes I think, the stress and issues this job brings me isn't worth it, until I look at how much I am making just while Brittany has a closing shift. This next check will be enough to cover the leak(I have to pay to have the sink removed so they can get to the pipe that is causing the issue, that's $125) and it will cover the amount I need to do the basement the way my step dad drew it up.

Even after a long day, I couldn't go to sleep. I went to bed at 2am, because I ended up watching, The Kingdom with Jaime Foxx and Jennifer Garner. Pretty good movie, pretty much about terrorism, I liked it a lot.

So, here I am now..dead tired writing in my blog. I'm going to try to upload that video and do my first video game review on who knows. Maybe Spiderman: Web of Shadows since I beat it already.

Take care everyone!

Ugh..Back to Work

My alarm went off at 7:25am this morning and I thought to myself, FUCK..back to work. For the past two weeks I have been up all night between the times of 4am-6am until going to bed, then waking back up between the times of 11am-1pm. It's been great. Not worrying about getting up early and just doing whatever you want, aside from household chores and I did work at my second job once.

These past two weeks have been great though, I can't complain about it, aside from the LEAK THAT CAME BACK. I mean, come on, can't my wife and I get atleast ONE FUCKING BREAK? Welcome to owning a house, is all I've heard from just about everyone. Thanks for letting me know, haha.

Anyways, perhaps I should make this more of a positive post, yeah? Christmas came, which was a blessing. I love Christmas time, because of the celebration of Jesus' birth(if you arn't religious, you can disregard this), the GIVING season and just being with your family.

-I've seen my family a lot these past two weeks. My sister came to stay with the wife and I for two days. That was a lot of fun. We got her a really neat Joker t-shirt from Hot Topic.

-I saw my Dad/step-mom/step-sister on multiple occassions. We had a lot of fun! We celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve. My dad made everyone his FAMOUS fruit salad. That shit is so damn good, I could eat it daily. We enjoyed our Christmas tradition, which is watching A Christmas Carol. My sister was even there on Christmas Eve. We exchanged our gifts, which were(going to list theirs because I've made a video about everything I've received):

Dad: Step Brothers(DVD), A Few Good Men(DVD) and a Duke Bluedevils T-Shirt.
Step-Mom: Pair of Ohio State Buckeyes sleep pants and a candle from Bath and Body Works.
Step-Sister: Scene It: Movie Edition(2nd Edition)

It sucks because we couldn't afford more this year. That's the only thing that sucked about Christmas, we couldn't afford what we usually do. We ate New Years dinner with them as well. It was gooooood. Pork/Sauerkrout(SP?) and I think Mashed Potatoes. I have a bad memory. I do remember, it being GOOOD. Before I go into the last thing I visited with them about..

I saw my Dolphins make it into the playoffs after going 1-15 the year before. I've never been so proud of my team. I've always worn my colors proud regardless of record and this year we won our division after going 11-5! A year to remember!

So, naturally..I went to my Dads yesterday to root them on in their first playoff game! We were very excited and pumped. In my heart, I knew my Dolphins most likely wouldn't see past game 1 of the playoffs, but I would be proud regardless. We were beat, wait, let me rephrase it, destroyed by the Baltimore Ravens, 27-9. Ah well, I'm more proud of my team than you could ever know, I just wish Chad Pennington didn't suck donkey balls(he threw 4 INT's that cost us the game), but regardless, he did get us to the playoffs.

The best highlight of yesterday? My step-moms FAMOUS lazagna. THAT SHIT IS GOOD. I've been asking forever for it and she came through and DOMINATED.

I'm thankful daily that I've regained the relationship I once had with my dad. I've missed him.

The greatest thing that I could ask for during my two week break was the fact I got to spend a lot more time with my wife. I love being with her and she brings out the best in me. It's never a dull moment with her and we always find ways to make things fun! I'd be nothing without her.

Boss is yelling to get back to work. I wanted to write more!

Obcessive?

I just beat Spiderman: Web of Shadows this morning. I played that game on and off a lot for the past 2-3 days. I LOVE this game and I highly recommend it to anyone.

I have to back through the game for a second time because you can choose to be a bad Spidey or a good one. I went good the first time around. Got to be evil now. That will be on the back burner though as I have a shit load of games to play while juggling WoW into the picture.

Sorry blogs have been dry, this holiday break has been awesome and I normally do blogs at work(been off for close to two weeks). Enjoying it!

Happy New Years!
