DVD Update!

Finally got some new DVD's from my favorite store: BUYBACKS! This blog will be short as I'll pretty much post what I bought. Here goes:

1) Kicking and Screaming starring Will Ferrel; now this isn't my favorite movie at all, but I couldn't pass it up for $3.99. It's just one of those goofy ass movies that makes me laugh when I put it in.

2) Freedom Writers starring Hillary Swank and Patrick Dempsey; I have never seen this movie, but Brittany really wanted to see it in theatres at release and I thought it looked very interesting, so I went ahead an snatched it up for $4.99.

3) Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift starring Lucas Black; I really liked the first two and never got a chance to see this one. I'm assuming it's the worst out of the three, but I gave it a shot for $3.99.

4) A Scanner Darkly starring Keenau Reaves, Robert Downey Jr., Winona Ryder and more; A good friend of mine swears by this movies on how good it is, he claims it's one of his favorites, so I finally broke down and bought it to give it a shot for $4.99.

5) Carlito's Way starring Al Pacino and Sean Penn; I've always wanted to see this but it was always so damn expensive, I love Al Pacino films and I love gangster films, so this has to be good. I can't wait to watch it, got it for $4.99.

6) School for Scoundrels starring Billy Bob Thorton and Jon Heder; I remember seeing this films trailer and thinking it looked hilarious but never got a chance to see it. I'm sure it will probably be a dud just like Mr. Woodcock, but I gave it a shot for $4.99.

7) The Reaping starring Hillary Swank; I've always looked at this movie and put it down(primarily because it was always above my range on spending on one movie) and it just looked like it would be a flop. I've heard many good things about it and I'm hoping its gory. So for $3.99, I hope it's good.

and last but not least:

8) Fool's Gold starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson; I bought this because Brittany had begged me to get it for her. She loved it and I really enjoyed it. It's a good movie for anyone.

So, I usually come home with movies I've already seen but this time. 6/8 of the movies I've not seen yet. If anyone would like a blog review of any movie I own, just let me know.
